MEDIA
Primarily I work in oil paints, with my preferred surfaces being smooth board, canvas board and paper - all of which have been specially created for use with oils. This choice may affect shipping so I'm happy to discuss options.
I also occasionally work with watercolours, fine liners and mixed media. Browse my galleries for examples and feel free to ask questions if you're not sure which material would best suit your concept.

CONCEPT
If you're familiar with my work and style, you'll know my inclinations lie with dark portraiture and figurative artworks, alongside botanical elements and the odd kitty! However, past commissions have also included floral bouquets, an assortment of pets and more traditional style portraits.
I'm open to painting most things (and always enjoy new challenges!), but if a concept feels inappropriate or too far out of my comfort zone, it may be turned away or an alternative offered.

If preferred, in-progress images will be sent regularly so that the client can confirm they are happy with the direction in which their artwork is going!
TIME SCALE
If you're working towards a deadline, I'll always do my best to make sure it's met! However, it's best to consider this before placing a commission - allowing a bit of contingency alongside the time it will take for your artwork to be discussed, conceptualised, completed, framed and shipped. Usually I would advise allowing two months for the actual painting/drawing process, with smaller works taking less time and larger works taking more in some cases.

PRICING
Please be aware that each commission will be tailored based upon the wishes of the client. Although I'm currently based in the UK, I do offer my services worldwide! Prices do not include optional frames or shipping, which will be calculated and added separately. International shipping can sometimes be a little expensive, however I'm happy to work with you to decide the easiest and safest way to deliver your new artwork :) Below is a rough guide for prices by size. This may vary slightly based on the complexity of the commission:

8x10" - £130
10x12" - £250
12x16" - £500
16x20" - £600

PAYMENT + PAYMENT PLANS
Currently, I only accept payment via PayPal.
I understand that sometimes it may be difficult to pay the cost of an artwork in full, so if you require a payment plan let me know and a proposal will be made to accommodate your needs :) Please be aware that I require payment up-front, so I will not begin the commission until the final payment has been received.
Any additional costs (shipping, framing) will be billed separately. Artworks will not be shipped until the final amount has been paid.

DELIVERY
All artwork will be shipped with a tracking service via Royal Mail or other courier (if too large). Depending on size and surface, finished pieces will either be packaged flat or in a shipping tube. For framed artworks or those on larger boards, I will arrange a custom box. The method of delivery chosen will always prioritise the safe transportation and needs of the individual piece, so rest assured that all precautions will be taken to ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition! Despite this, if any problems should occur, please contact me within 14 days of arrival.

LOCAL DELIVERY

For clients in the UK, shipping may come at no extra cost depending the size or price of the artwork and the cost of shipping it. I'm happy to allow pick up in person also :)

RETURNS + CANCELLATIONS
I do not accept returns, so please be sure before placing a commission. However, if an artwork arrives damaged, contact me within 14 days of arrival.
If the client wishes to cancel a commission, they will receive a full refund on condition that no progress has been made before the request was placed. If a commission is part-way to completion, the client will receive a part refund based on the stage their artwork is at - for example, if half complete, half the full amount will be refunded.

COPYRIGHT
Although the client has paid for the commission and ownership of their physical artwork, the original copyright will remain with me, the artist. Reproductions may not be made by the client for any kind of profit without written permission from the artist. Similarly, prints may not be made by the artist without the client's consent. However, documentation of the painting may be made for the artist's portfolio if appropriate and agreed upon.
