F.A.Q

SHIPPING

All original artwork will be shipped with a tracking service via Royal Mail or other courier (if too large). Depending on size and surface, finished pieces will either be packaged flat or in a shipping tube. For framed artworks or those on larger boards, I will arrange a custom box. The method of delivery chosen will always prioritise the safe transportation and needs of the individual piece, so rest assured that all precautions will be taken to ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition! Despite this, if any problems should occur, please contact me within 14 days of arrival.

For prints and other small merchandise, again, most items will be shipped with a tracking service (also via Royal Mail). Exceptions may be made for very small or inexpensive items in order to keep the cost of shipping free or minimal for the buyer. This will not affect compensation for the buyer if any items arrive damaged (see details below) :)

LOCAL DELIVERY

For buyers in the UK, shipping may come at no extra cost depending the size or price of the artwork/item and the cost of shipping it. I'm happy to allow pick up in person also - contact me if this is an options you'd like to discuss!

RETURNS + CANCELLATIONS

I do not currently accept returns, so please be sure before placing any order - since I run everything by myself alongside a separate day job, I don't have the resources to enable this feature yet. Due to the expense of printing, the majority of my prints will be sent for as orders come in or in very small batches (often one of each print per re-stock). However, if an item arrives damaged, please contact me within 14 days of arrival (see details below).

Cancellations are accepted provided the order has not yet been shipped.

With regards to commissions, if the client wishes to cancel a commission, they will receive a full refund on condition that no progress has been made before the request was placed. If a commission is part-way to completion, the client will receive a part refund based on the stage their artwork is at - for example, if half complete, half the full amount will be refunded.

DAMAGED ITEMS

In the unfortunate and rare circumstance an item arrives damaged, please contact me within 14 days of its arrival. If the item is a print or something that can be reproduced, I will either offer a replacement or part to full refund (depending on the damage!). For original one-off artworks, I can only offer a part to full refund - again, based on the damage incurred.

Please be considerate when reporting damages - I will of course ensure all shipments are adequately insured to cover any postal disasters, however all replacement items will be at my personal expense, which as a very small business, will be significant.

PAYMENT + PAYMENT PLANS

Aside from my Etsy shop, I currently only accept direct payments via PayPal.

I understand that sometimes it may be difficult to pay up front the cost of an artwork in full, so if you require a payment plan let me know and a proposal will be made to accommodate your needs :)

Please be aware that for commissions I require the full amount before commencing a piece, so I will not begin painting until the final payment has been received.

Any additional costs for a commission (shipping, framing) will be billed separately following completion of the piece. Artworks will not be shipped until the final amount has been paid.

COPYRIGHT

Copyright of all artworks, whether prints, originals or other will always remain with me. No reproductions of my work - of any sort - may take place without my written permission.

Regarding commissions, although the client has paid for the commission and ownership of their physical artwork, the original copyright will remain with me, the artist. Reproductions may not be made by the client for any kind of profit without written permission from the artist. Similarly, prints may not be made by the artist without the client's consent. However, documentation of the painting may be made for the artist's portfolio if appropriate and agreed upon.
